Capacitance = Charge / Voltage .... C = Q/V









		Please try the circuit in the simulator as well. The resistor needed in order to prevent short circuit connections. Try to use "edit" and change the values to 0,001 Ohm instead. What will the final value of the Voltage at the Capacitors be?

Capacitance = Dielectric Constant * Area / distance .... C = ɛ * A / d
